Importing from a File
Instead of adding users one by one, you can bulk-import them from a CSV file. Open the dialog with the Upload users button in the Users page toolbar (on a phone or narrow window it is in the round + action menu). This file-based import exists for users only — products and treatments are instead copied from another organisation in your group (see the last section).
1. Prepare the file
The file needs one row per user under these column headings:
- FirstName — required.
- LastName — required.
- Email — required, must be a valid email address.
- DialCode — required, numbers only.
- Mobile — required, numbers only.
- Tags — optional; several tags are separated by commas.
- CalendarResource — set to 1 to also create a calendar (resource) record for the user; otherwise leave it empty.
The dialog's Download template button downloads a ready-made starting file with exactly these column headings and one blank row — fill in one row per user and save it as CSV.
2. Upload the file
Click Upload user list and select your CSV file. Every row is checked before anything is imported.
3. Review the result
The import is all-or-nothing. If a row is invalid, the upload stops at the first problem, reports which line failed and why (for example "Upload failed - missing first name, line: 3"), and imports nothing — correct the file and upload it again. Once every row passes, all users are created together with status Created. Imported users are not invited automatically; send invitations as a separate step from the Users page.
Importing products and treatments
Products and treatments are not imported from a file. This action only appears if your organisation belongs to a group of more than one organisation. On the Products page toolbar it is the Import products from another organisation button; on the Treatments page it is Import from another organisation. Either one opens a small dialog titled Import from another organisation that asks Please select from which organisation. Choose another organisation of your group and click Import items to copy its items into the current organisation.
