Email header

The header dialog is a full-screen editor for one reusable email header block — the banner that sits at the top of your Templates emails. Give it a Name, choose what it shows, and watch the preview update as you go.

Image

Choose between Logo and Banner.

  • Logo shows your organisation's logo (set elsewhere, not uploaded here) and lets you pick its alignment — left, center, or right.
  • Banner lets you upload your own image. Click Upload banner image (or Replace banner image if one is already set) to pick a file, then crop it to the fixed banner shape before saving the crop. A Remove button deletes the current banner image.

Background

The color swatch next to Header background opens a color picker for the strip behind the logo or banner.

Preview

The panel below always reflects your current choices, so you can see exactly how the header will look in outgoing emails before saving.

Saving and Deleting

The save button stays disabled until you've made a change and given the header a name. Closing the dialog without saving discards your edits — you're warned first.

To remove an existing header, click Mark for deletion (the trash icon) in the toolbar. The icon switches to a filled, warning-colored trash can, the form below is blurred and locked against further edits, and a "Marked for deletion — this item will be deleted when you save" banner appears over it. Click the same button again to unmark it if you change your mind. The header is only actually deleted once you click Save; saving while marked also deletes any uploaded banner image. Without the configuration-write permission, the dialog opens read-only: the entire toolbar (help, mark-for-deletion, and save) is hidden, and all fields are read-only.
