User Detail

The user dialog is where you edit a single user: their details, their status, and what they are allowed to see and do in your organisation. It opens full-screen from the Users page — the eye icon on a row opens an existing user, Add user starts a new one. The Save button in the toolbar stays disabled until the details are complete and something has changed; closing the dialog asks you to confirm before discarding unsaved edits.

User details

First name, Last name, Email and Mobile (entered with its country code) are all required before you can save; Tags are optional. The identity fields are editable only while the user is at Created, Pending acceptance or Remove invitation on save — for any other status they are shown read-only with the notice "These parameters can only be edited on newly created users."

While the user's status is Created, a Choose an existing group user picker appears when other organisations in your group already have users: pick a person there to bring the existing account into this organisation instead of creating a duplicate — their details are filled in for you.

Status

The Status dropdown offers only the changes that make sense from the user's current state:

  • Created — offers Remove user.
  • Active — offers Suspend user or Remove user.
  • Suspended — offers Set as active or Remove user.
  • Pending acceptance — offers Pending email confirmation, Revoke invitation or Remove user.
  • Declined (the user declined their invitation) — offers Created, to reset them and invite again.

Choosing Remove user flags the account for removal when you save.

There is no resend action in this dialog — invitations are sent (and re-sent) from the Users page by selecting rows and clicking Send invitation.

User roles

The User roles section holds contact-role checkboxes — Primary contact, Billing contact, Technical contact and Calendar resource — each with a short description beside it. Tick the ones that apply to this user.

User rights

The User rights section controls access level by level, with each area set to none, View or Manage:

  • Group levelConfiguration & settings. Shown when your group has more than one organisation.
  • Organisation levelOrganisation, Configuration & settings, Users, Clients and Analytics (view only).
  • Resources — one entry per resource plus an All entry. Granting All covers every resource at once and resets the individual entries.

You cannot change your own roles or rights — these controls are disabled when you edit your own account.

Saving

Click the toolbar Save button to apply your changes; they are then synchronised.
