Booking Template Detail
The booking template editor opens in full screen and controls everything about one online booking page. It is organised into five tabs: Profile, Texts, Resources, Fields and Theme.
See Set up online booking for the end-to-end guide.
Profile
The Profile tab holds the template's core settings:
- Online switch — publish or unpublish the booking page (Template is online / Template is offline). While offline, the booking URL is not available to clients.
- Public URL — the read-only full address of the booking page.
- Name — the template name (up to 50 characters).
- Slug — the editable last part of the booking page address. Adjust it to create a clean, memorable URL; the Public URL follows.
- Images — upload the template's confirmation image.
- Attributes — a table of the template's four settings, explained row by row below. See Attributes for how these tables work.
The right-hand side shows ready-to-use QR codes: one for the booking page, one for the video appointment page when the template covers video appointments, and — when several organisations are included — one per organisation.
Attributes
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Booking email | The reply-to / contact address for the emails sent around this booking page — a client replying to a confirmation or reminder reaches this address. |
| Link to favicon | URL of the favicon the booking site shows in the browser tab. |
| Booking UI mode | How the booking page offers times: calendar shows the week/day calendar grid, simple shows the session picker with a day-grouped list of slots. |
| Express booking | On: clients book through the fast single-sheet express flow instead of the full step-by-step flow. |
Deleting a template
Use the delete icon in the toolbar to mark the template for deletion; it changes to a filled, highlighted icon and a warning banner appears over the form. Click it again to unmark. Click Save while marked to actually delete the template.
Texts
The Texts tab holds the wording clients see, with a field for each of your organisation's languages. Booking texts are always available; Video and SMS text groups appear when video appointments or SMS are configured for your organisation.
Resources
Under Included resources you select which organisations and resources can be booked through this template. Ticking an organisation includes all of its resources; ticking individual resources includes just those (the organisation then shows a partial mark). Each resource row also shows its direct booking link. For group accounts, Include all organisations and all resources selects everything at once.
Fields
The Fields tab decides which of your client fields clients complete during this template's checkout. Tick Use field for each field to include, and drag rows to set the order. The list also shows each field's Required, Self managed, Scope and Type settings — those are edited on the Templates page's Fields tab.
Theme
The Theme tab styles the booking page:
- Theme Settings — tick which themes clients may use (Light, Dark, System) and pick which one is the default. Set the button Variant (Elevated, Flat, Tonal, Outlined, Text or Plain) and the Rounded corner style (None, XS, SM, LG, XL, Pill or Shaped), with a live button preview.
- Light Theme Colors / Dark Theme Colors — colour pickers for the booking page's colours in each mode, grouped into the main and surface colours and, below a divider, the matching text-on-colour shades.
- Icons — override individual icons used on the booking page.
- Reset to Defaults — return all theme settings to the standard values.
Saving
Click Save in the toolbar to apply your changes; closing the editor discards them (a confirmation tooltip on the close button reminds you of this). A template needs a name before it can be saved.
