Set or reset your password
On this page you choose your password and your four-digit Support Pin. You reach it in two ways:
- As a new user, straight after you accept an invitation (see Accept an invitation). This link stays valid for 7 days after you accept.
- After a forgotten password, from the Reset Password button in the email "go flow - password reset" (see Login). This link works for 60 minutes after you request it.
To change a password you still know, sign in and use Account > Settings, tab Credentials, instead (see Settings).
SMS code (password reset only)
Where go flow verifies password resets by SMS and a mobile number is saved with your user, opening the reset link sends you an SMS with a six-digit code. The Set credentials step reads "We have sent you an SMS with a code, please enter it below." Enter the 6-digit code: the page continues by itself once the sixth digit is in, or click Continue. A wrong code shows "Wrong code!". After five wrong codes the link stops working and the page returns to the login page; request a new link there.
1. Choose a password and Support Pin
The Set credentials step reads "Please provide a new password and support pin."
- Enter the new Password. The eye icon shows or hides it; spaces cannot be typed.
- Enter a Support Pin of four digits. The field accepts digits only.
- As you type, a checklist shows which requirements are met:
- Length (at least 10 characters)
- Contains lower case
- Contains upper case
- Contains number
- Contains special character
- Support pin set
- Click Continue. It stays disabled until every requirement is met.
2. Done
The Password set step confirms "Your password and pin have been updated!". Click Continue to login and sign in with your email address and the new password (see Login).
When the password is saved, go flow also:
- emails you "go flow - password updated";
- ends every open session of your user, on every device, so you sign in again everywhere.
As a new user, your first sign-in continues with setting up the authenticator app, see First-time setup.
If the new password does not work
When the link has expired, has already been used, or was cancelled by a newer request or a successful sign-in, the page says so — when you open the link, or at the latest when you click Continue — with "This link is invalid, has expired or has already been used, so your password was not changed. …". Your password is unchanged. Then:
- Forgotten password: request a new link from Trouble logging in? on the login page and use it within 60 minutes.
- New user: open the link in your invitation email again. As long as you have not set a password, it shows the invitation again; click Accept once more to get a valid link to this page.
If the page shows Application error, the request did not go through. Open the link again from the email in a few minutes.
