Journal
The journal is a chronological record of client-related activity across your organisation — appointments, notes, orders, payments, wallet movements, vouchers, and feedback.
Overview
Events are listed newest first. Each row shows an icon for the event type, the date and time, the client, a description, and — where money is involved — an amount. Small tag and note icons at the end of a row indicate that tags or internal notes have been saved on that entry. The page reads live data from the server, so it is only available while you are online.
Event Types
Each entry carries an icon showing its type:
- Appointments — bookings, described with the resource and appointment details
- Journal notes — recorded note entries, shown with their note type
- Orders — orders, shown with the order reference
- Payments — payment transactions, with the payment method and provider
- Wallet — wallet credits and debits
- Vouchers — voucher events, shown with the voucher code
- Feedback — feedback submissions linked to a client, shown with the form name and score
The Amount Column
Where an entry has a credit or debit value, it appears as a credit in green with a plus sign or a debit in red with a minus sign. Other money events show the amount together with the currency where one is recorded.
Filtering by Month
The date control at the top is a month picker: the list always shows exactly one calendar month, and you can step back up to five years. To review a different period, pick its month and year.
Search
The search field (Find entry) finds entries by client name, description, and other entry details across your organisation's full history — results are not limited to the month currently on display. Results update shortly after you stop typing.
Tags and Internal Notes
Order, payment, wallet, and voucher entries can carry tags and timestamped internal notes. Click the expand chevron at the end of such a row to open them, then edit the tags and add notes as needed; other entry types have no expand control. Each note is stored with the date, time, and the name of the user who wrote it. Click Save in the expanded panel to store your changes. Without the client-write permission, the panel is read-only.
Excel Export
The Export to Excel button downloads the rows currently shown as a spreadsheet, including the client, resource, description, and amount details. The file is named with the current date, so successive exports do not overwrite each other.
