Dashboard

"Dashboard" is the name of go flow's staff app, and also of one page inside it. That page is an empty placeholder. This help page explains what surrounds every screen: the top bar, the menu, the cloud icon, signing out, updates, and which sections each user sees.

The Dashboard page is a placeholder

The Dashboard page shows a single faded background icon and no data — no statistics, no upcoming appointments, no activity and no setup checklist. It has no entry in the menu, and go flow never opens it on its own: after you sign in, go flow opens Settings; when you later reload or reopen the app, it returns to the page you used last.

For figures, use Analytics > Overview. For the day's sessions and appointments, use the Scheduler. To see how far your setup has come, use Get ready to take bookings.

The top bar

The same bar sits above every screen:

  • Organisation — the name of the organisation you are working in, at the left. If you have access to more than one, it is a selector: choosing another organisation switches the whole app to it. If the page you were on is not available there, go flow opens the first menu entry you may use. With unsaved changes, you are asked first whether to discard them.
  • Help — the question-mark icon opens this help at the page for the screen you are on.
  • Menu — on wider screens the menu sits in the bar as icons without text: an icon such as the calendar opens its page, and pointing at a group icon opens the group's entries with their names. On a phone the menu sits in a side drawer behind the menu button, with names.
  • Cloud icon — at the right, the state of the upload of your changes. It spins while an upload runs; amber with a "!" means changes are stored only on this device. Click it to upload at once. How a change travels on to the booking site is explained under Check that a change reached the customer site.

The menu

The menu has the same entries in the top bar and in the side drawer:

  • Scheduler — calendar of appointments and sessions
  • Journal — activity history of your clients
  • Clients — client list and records
  • Emails — emails sent to clients
  • Analytics — Overview, Feedback insights and Audit log
  • Finance — Payments, Orders, Wallets and Vouchers
  • Configurations — Organisation, Users, Resources, Treatments, Products, Promotions, Templates and Feedback forms
  • Account — Settings, My activity (your own recent actions, see Audit log) and Logout

The Subscription page has no menu entry.

Which sections you see

The menu is filtered for each user and organisation, so you may see fewer entries than listed above. Rights are set per user under Users; modules are switched on the Modules tab of Organisation.

Configurations > Feedback formsConfiguration & settings, and the Feedback forms module is on.
Account entriesAlways.

A group whose entries are all hidden disappears entirely. Typing a page's address into the browser does not get you past a missing right: you are sent to Settings instead.

Signing out

Logout asks whether to sign out on This device or on All devices; confirm with Continue. Signing out deletes everything go flow stored on this device, including changes that have not been uploaded yet. Before you sign out, check that the cloud icon shows no "!".

When a new version is available

go flow checks for a new version of the app every few minutes and whenever you return to its tab. It installs the new version by itself at a safe moment: shortly after start-up, when you move to another page, or when you leave the tab — never while a dialog is open. The app then reloads on the same screen, and the bar at the bottom says "The application has been updated to the latest version!". On the first start after an update, "Updating application, please wait..." can appear for a moment while your data is refreshed. There is nothing to click.
