Announcement banner

An announcement is a styled, time-limited banner shown on your public booking site. Open the editor from the Announcements tab of the promotions page: click Add announcement for a new one (New announcement), or the eye icon on a row to edit one (Edit announcement). An announcement carries no discount — discount codes and pricing rules are managed on the other promotions tabs.

Status and validity

Use the status switch to set the announcement online (Promotion is online) or offline (Promotion is offline). Clients only see announcements that are online and within the Valid from / Valid until dates; leave a date empty to leave that side open.

Name

Give the announcement a Name for internal reference — at least 3 and up to 50 characters (the field shows a character counter).

Icon

Pick an optional Icon shown at the front of the banner. There are five choices: Information, Warning, Discount, Event and Announcement.

Texts

Enter the banner copy — Heading, Sub heading and Description — for each of your organisation's languages. Clients see the text in their own language.

Banner styling

The Banner section controls the look: pick the Background color, Border color and Font color, the corner rounding (Border radius — none, Small, Medium, Large or Rounded) and the Border width (Small, Medium or Large). You can also add an image to make the banner stand out.

Preview

The Preview card shows the banner as it will appear — icon, colours, image and texts — and updates as you edit.

Saving and deleting

The save button in the top-right corner is enabled once you have made a change and the name is at least 3 characters long. On an existing announcement, click the delete icon in the toolbar to mark it for deletion, then save to remove it.
